Green Cross Medico are delighted to be short listed in the in the category “Partnership with the NHS” for the development of a collaboration with the NHS, which is taking place in Birmingham Conference and Events Centre on 24th January.

Airglove is a new innovation which was highly commended last year at the Celebration of Innovation Awards with the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN), so its good news to be recognised again. We have enjoyed working with the NHS across the following trusts in their oncology departments: Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells, Royal Stoke, Royal Marsden, UCLH, Queens Romford, Beatson Glasgow on our patient service evaluations.

The Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS trust have just completed their Airglove evaluation and it shows an 87.5% success rate in cannulation with patients selected by the nurses who have known difficulties in accessing veins.
